They may try to take themselves seriously, but they are often "milked" for laughs with or without their knowledge. This is a team that I had done before (albeit very briefly), but a lot has happened to them since that time. There's been a relocation several hours north to Los Angeles to eventually play in a new stadium with the Rams. In the most typical Charger way, it's been a disaster so far due to a combination of poor decision-making and terrible luck. The team itself isn't the laughingstock here, but the leadership behind it... or lack thereof. They're a team without a true home. A mercenary squad, if you will.
