This stretch felt like our own private paradise: zero other campers, crystal-clear spring fed water, otters everywhere, and perfect fall weather the entire trip. We ran upstream from the St. Johns, found a secluded primitive campsite, hung the hammocks, cooked an epic meal, and had an amazing time.
