Stagecoach Midlands Alexander Dennis Trident 2/Alexander ALX400 MX05 WHP (18322)

Today we take a ride on one of Northampton's Tridents on the 12A from Hunsbury Medical Centre to Overslade Close whilst heading towards North Gate Bus Station. This is a rather nice example, and sounds very nice. On my day trip in Northampton (pre-lockdown), I ticked 11 Tridents, and saw several more out. I like Tridents, having grown up on a mixture of Tridents and Olympians, and it's sad to see more and more of these being sold out of the group, but there's a fair number still in use at the Northampton depot. Originally 18322 was new to Greater Manchester South. It later transferred down to Stagecoach West's Cheltenham depot with sister 323, before the pair then moved to Leamington Spa. 18323 remains there, whereas 18322 was transferred to Northampton.
