The Escape The Animorphs have discovered a secret weapon to use against the Yeerks – maple-flavored oatmeal! The Yeerks crave it, and when they eat it, they are unable to control their hosts! But to use the oatmeal weapon successfully, the Animorphs will have to return to their darkest nightmare…the Yeerk Pool! The Alien Homesick for his own planet, Ax uses a high-powered telescope to contact his father, and becomes hurt and upset when he blames him for entrusting the Animorphs with the Andalite power to morph. Ax tries to hide his feelings, but soon learns that he must trust the Animorphs if they are to fight together against the Yeerks. The Reaction Cassie and Rachel became local heroes when they save a young boy from a crocodile pit at the zoo. But, since the incident, Cassie has been itchy…and morphing involuntarily. Ax says Cassie is having an allergic reaction to the crocodile’s DNA. The more excited and emotional Cassie becomes, the stronger the reaction.
