This video is part of a growing list on recorded materials breaking down different aspects of geomorphology. The goal is to examine single, bite-sized topics in physical geography/geomorphology and build an introductory understanding in the material. Here we look at the four primary forms that stream channels take: Straight, anastomosing, meandering, and braided. We also break down how to tell what type of channel you are looking at from aerial imagery, using Google Earth Pro.
