Cammino Dei Borghi Silenti: Hiking with a view. Umbria and the Tiber Valley - Day 2

Day two of the Cammino dei Borghi Silenti, a fantastic and little-known walk in beautiful Umbria, saw me leaving the beautiful medieval village of Melezzole and heading up to the summit of Monte Croce di Serra. The views across the Tiber valley and Umbria were spectacular. Descending for a few kilometres, we then crossed over Monte Castellano and passed through Morruzze on our way to the final destination of Morre, ending another glorious day of hiking in Italy. The hike was developed in 2019 by Marco Fioroni as a way of exploring this most stunning Italian region - Umbria. The Cammino dei Borghi Silenti takes the hiker through some of the most stunning parts of southern Umbria.
