easyJet Flight Report London Gatwick to Amsterdam 21/03/2024

Welcome back to another video. On the 21st of March, I decided to head to Amsterdam for some plane spotting. Here is the flight report for the journey to from Amsterdam. For people wondering, here is how I found the flight and some details about it! This video starts in seat 5A onboard G-EZBU whilst witnessing the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any free seats next to me and it was quite cramped. After all, I am 6ft so you can imagine the space was quite tight. Once boarding was complete, we pushed back and taxied to the Easterly Runway (08R). We were the very first plane to takeoff from London Gatwick. Taxiing time was around 10 minutes or so. Shortly after takeoff off, we made a right turn over Lingfield before shortly turning left over Edenbridge. During our departure, we were given amazing views of the sunrise. (A separate video will follow). It was definitely a departure to remember! Our routing then took us over Sevenoaks and then Dartford before taking two right turns that took us over Basildon and Colchester. By that time, we were already at our cruising altitude of 23,000 feet (FL230). After 11 minutes of cruising over the English Channel, we then started our descent towards Amsterdam. We made a right turn over the English Channel and another just off shore from The Netherlands. We then fly in between Leiden and The Hague before turning left for our final approach. We landed on Runway 36C and had a long taxi to our stand. All in all, it was a very quick flight of just 47 minutes.
