Billali leaves to report the white men's arrival to the queen . The adventurers eventually reach the queen's palace, where they meet Ayesha, who is revealed to be the immortal queen of the lost city of Kôr. Ayesha is a beautiful and powerful sorceress who has waited for 2,000 years for the reincarnation of her lover, whom she killed out of jealousy. She believes that Leo is the reincarnation of her lover and tries to convince him to drink from the "Flower of Life," which will grant him immortality and make him her eternal companion .
