Gear ‘Reviews’: VHT Special 6 Hand Wired Tube Amplifier with 6 or 3 Watts, 10” Speaker, 12AX7 & 6V6 Tubes I play a variety of guitars, display the attributes and sounds of the amp, and even toss in a couple pedal sounds. This is a great little 23 pound, all tube amplifier and it’s a pleasure to play at home and even at small gigs. With the overdrive feature, it puts out a potent volume. Very close to the power of a Fender Blues Junior or Princeton Reverb. With the six V6 powered tube it has quite a ”Fendery” sound. The amplifier can play quite clean in the 6W position, or with the boost, a commanding grungy sound.
