Welcome to Episode 12! After the chaos of Burnout Paradise, we are returning to the roots of technical driving. Today, we’re loading up the official game of the professional drifting world: D1GP Arcade (D1 Grand Prix). Developed by Taito, this is a drifting purist's dream. Unlike the "tap-to-drift" style of casual arcade racers, D1GP Arcade requires real timing, throttle control, and counter-steering. On this custom rig, the goal is to see if we can maintain that perfect angle through some of the most iconic drifting circuits in Japan. Precision, Angle, and Speed I’m taking on the professional drift circuit, aiming for those high "D1 Points" by clipping the zones and keeping the car sideways at triple-digit speeds. This game really tests the force feedback and steering accuracy of a custom arcade build. If you love the smell of burning rubber and the sound of screaming rev-limiters, this is your episode.
