** Open me for more info ** // All content in this video is aimed for those who are 18 years or older Hi Everyone! Welcome to today's video - which will be a tutorial of the box/pocket pouch that I've made for my entry into Alex's (Now Closed) Giveaway. I have also made this box for one of the projects for my Design Team package with Cheryl Simone Crafts. This video is pre-recorded as I have now sent my entry to Alex and the giveaway closed on May 12th 2023, and the winners have already been drawn as well - but I will leave Alex's channel below, so please do subscribe to her, if you haven't already. All measurements and materials, I will list below and I hope that you will have fun making this project - it's perfect for party favours, gifts, wedding favours, pamper gifts and giving that extra handmade gift to someone too! Hope you all enjoy the tutorial! Happy Crafting! Fold the score lines to create a 'U' or 'L' shape with a flap on the end Main box mat and layers (front and back) - Card mat: 6 3/4in x 3 1/4in (2 pieces) Main box mat and layers (front and back) - Patterned paper mat: 6 1/2in x 3in (2 pieces) Sides for the main box - 2 1/4in x 2 1/4in (2 pieces), score at 1/2in and 1 3/4in OR score at 1/2in on each side (1/2in on one side, turn 180 degrees, not 100 degrees as mentioned in the video and score 1/2in on that side) Sides for the main box - mat layer - patterned paper - 2in x 1in (2 pieces) Front panel piece (under the flap) - patterned paper - 3 1/4in x 2 14in (1 piece) Flap - Card mat layer - 1in x 3 1/4in (1 piece) Flap - Patterned paper - layer - 3/4in x 3in (1 piece) **I would advise when you're attaching the sides of your box to attach on the inside of the base first, and then put the front mat on afterwards. Do one side at a time first (do the left one, then the right one, and leave the adhesive (if you're using tape) on one of the flaps (glue where you feel its necessary to) and then attach the front card / paper layer on to the base before you attach the front panel of the box on to the remainder tabs of the sides. This will make your layers equal on the front and back of the box more even and will be less difficult or awkward to attach the layers on the back and front. Apologies if that sounds complicated!
