Today is an exciting day as we continue our adventure on the Eco Trail. When I think of this journey, the pump station at Goodhouse and its iconic bridge are always the first places that come to mind. We leave camp a bit later than usual, as we're close to Goodhouse, and take the turn towards the Witkop Mine. With excitement comes a bit of worry, especially with the trailers, as this section of the route can be tough on tyres. However, the challenge is worth it for the stunning landscapes. From the towering burnt mountains to the lonely quiver tree standing proudly in the vast, arid plains, the beauty and solitude of this area are truly breathtaking.
