Wife of Charlotte Police Shooting Victim Keith Scott Captured Encounter

Keith Scott’s wife, Rakeyia Scott, filmed the moments before and after her husband was shot by police in Charlotte, North Carolina. In footage released by her attorney police are seen approaching Scott’s car. An officer tells him to drop the gun, to which his wife, filming a few meters from the scene, shouts that he doesn’t have a gun. As the officer continues to tell him to drop the gun, Scott’s wife says that her husband has TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). She is heard screaming, asking her husband to get out of the car, before there is the sound of gun shots. The video does not show the moment of the shooting or reveal if Scott was armed.
