In this episode, I’m preparing the foundation for the stone wall base. I clean clay off the stones using a pressure washer, haul away debris, shift the house support points, and lay down insulating tar paper. The weather isn’t helping—winter and spring keep taking turns. This is an important step in our renovation – the last stretch of the foundation will soon be ready! Meanwhile, Marta is sowing lettuce, spinach, radishes, peas, and broad beans, and getting a bed ready for pumpkins and zucchinis. She also gives us a little tour around our homestead 🌱 📌 Watch how I lift the house with a jack. ===================================== We’re restoring a traditional rural homestead. Our homestead is a rare example of old Polish wooden architecture. Our goal is to bring this place back to life, as close to the original as possible. Will we succeed? Follow the progress at the Damdyla homestead. Thank you so much for helping our channel grow – @Siedlisko Damdyla. We truly enjoy reading and replying to your comments.
