It is November 1973 and at last after months of painstaking development the new Almarine Seafire is ready to be released to the world. (Now on Facebook:   / almarineseafire   come and join us) The boating press are invited along for the occasion and offered a choice of five different Seafires in different colours and engine sizes for testing. One journalist is so impressed with the John Player Special Seafire in black and gold that she nearly flips the boat over ! It is a credit to the boat's designer and builder, John Neate, that the Seafire still looks as amazing today as it did then, nearly forty years ago. If you are reading this John, please get in touch, we'd love for you to build us some more of these amazing boats. I'll be your first customer, but don't change a thing.....
