Today's soap review is about their scent "Imperial Rum", classic bay rum scent with a twist! The soap itshelf performs amazing, like many tallow based soaps. Its easy to lather and produces a creamy and slick lather. The residual slickness also is excellent. The remaining lather after your shave can be used also as a moisturising cream or as an after shave balm. The scent is classic bay rum without the clove part, but with the addition of the a zesty twist. To my nose is exotic, eastern island scent, especially suitable for the summer time. "It briefly begins with a citrus nose of lime and sweet orange before moving in to the warm and spicy note of West Indian bay whose hints of vanilla and a slight balsamic scent merge in to the cinnamon, pepper and juniper notes of Allspice (pimenta dioica). The scent climbs down in to the sweetness and depth provided by ylang-ylang and benzoin."
