This classic tomato eggs is a Chinese recipe that is often served at home. Called 蕃茄炒蛋 or 西红柿炒蛋, tomatoes and eggs stir-fry are very popular in Asia especially China and Taiwan. It is basically scrambled eggs with tomatoes, stir-fried in a wok, with tomato sauce and chillie sauce to give a bit of kick and variation, but very delicious and tasty. Garlic is used to fry with tomatoes to give aromatic flavor. We used to eat this dish all the time growing up, and it’s something we still crave once in a while. It’s fast, easy, cheap, and made with very simple, everyday ingredients. Hope you enjoy cooking and eating as well. INGREDIENTS for the Recipe 3 eggs 1 tsp shao xin wine 1/2 tsp mushroom granules 2 red tomatoes 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic For the sauce ingredients 1 tbsp tomato sauce 1 tbsp chillie sauce 1 tsp soya sauce 1 tsp-1 tbsp sugar ( for sweet or sour tomatoes ) 1 tsp cornstarch 50-60 ml water For the method please watch the video.
