Akai Professional recently released MPC BEATS - a free digital audio workstation designed for beginners. In today's live stream we'll take a look at the software and build a beat in it. We'll also be checking out the LoFi Producer Collection expansion for MPC BEATS from ADSR. Any MIDI device can be mapped to control MPC Beats, which either runs as a standalone app or as a plug-in in another DAW. 2GB of samples, three virtual instruments, more than 80 effects and sample editing tools are on hand for building and shaping sounds. Two stereo audio and eight MIDI tracks can run simultaneously and VST, AU, AXX plug-ins are also supported.
