📌 About this Session Can the way we talk about Basic Income shape the fate of the movement? In this talk, economist and PhD student Gudrun Kaufmann (Freiburg Institute for Basic Income Studies) explores how narrative approaches can shape basic income research- how stories and narratives influence economic decision-making, social change, and uncertainty. Key topics include: ✅ Narrative scenario analysis – using storytelling to explore economic futures ✅ Narratives of change – how stories shape public opinion and policy ✅ Applying narratives to basic income advocacy – using research to drive impact 🎥 Kaufmann shares real-world examples and discusses how narrative-based research can open new doors for understanding and promoting basic income. 📍 About BIEN 2024 This session is part of the 23rd BIEN Congress in Bath, UK.
