The Oregon Trail Generation: Technology, Electronics, and Economics

Six years ago, I read an article describing "The Oregon Trail Generation", people born around 1980 (like me), who grew up when many types of technology were present, but rare. This was an important part of my growing up: when I was a young child, home electronics were rare and valuable, and computers seemed like sacred, fragile objects. But by the time I was a teenager, they were more common. Sometimes, the way that people both older and younger than me view technology is a little hard to understand. I put this video together to explain my perspective. This video has personal meaning for me, but I have to admit, it wasn't produced exactly as I would have liked. It is just a YouTube video explaining some of my feelings and experiences.
