This video is about the dedication of the St. Ambrose Honey House at St. Joseph Abbey. On December 7th, the feast day of Saint Ambrose, the honey house named in his honor as one of patron saints of bee keeper, was blessed and dedicated. Many of the monks here at Saint Joseph Abbey were present for the occasion and participated in the blessing. Not only were there monks at the blessing, but there was lots of tasty treats with honey as the secret ingredient. Then to top it off, there was a honey tasting station where everyone was able to sample 15 different types of honey from all over the US and around the world.
