2nd ISLA Mafuti Derby- Saipan

August 3rd, 2019 Smiling Cove Marina Saipan, CNMI “I(The) Sanhalom(Inside) Laguna(Lagoon) Anglers Association”, better known as the ISLA Association, was established in 2018 by a group of “small boat” anglers that love to fish big. With the idea to compete in friendly competition, the first “in lagoon” derby was planned and materialized in 2018. The first annual ISLA Mafuti(Emperor Snapper) Derby was held last year with a successful twenty plus boats entered, and the ISLA Association plans to perpetuate the event and invites all that would like to try their luck in our upcoming events and derbies.
