In this video I show how I applied a large logo to a fabric backdrop using a DTF transfer and a mini heat press. Originally, I tried applying the design with permanent vinyl, but it was extremely difficult to get it to adhere properly to the fabric and even harder to remove. I actually made a short about that mistake 😅 Using a DTF transfer (which works similarly to HTV) ended up being a much better and easier solution — especially for larger designs that my Cricut couldn’t cut. In this video I: • Applied a large DTF transfer to a fabric backdrop • Used a mini heat press to apply heat and pressure • Protected the design with a Teflon sheet while pressing If your Cricut can’t cut large enough for a project like this, DTF transfers are a great alternative and press just like heat transfer vinyl. how to apply vinyl to a backdrop arch how to add a decal to a fabric arch * The links above are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you purchase through them.
