Fantastic Evening Variety at Carlisle 37 Plus Brittanic Explorer pay a visit. 4 Feb 2026

An evening spent at Carlisle station to see a few extra workings. Firstly a Class 37 takes a Class 769 unit to Allerton depot before the Belmond Britannic Explorer stock arrives to layover between regular services going from Carnforth to Hamilton presumably between maintenance at each place. A few regular passenger and freight trains with Classess 66, 68 and 90. The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.
