Australian Landscape Photography: VIC & NSW Hikes, Hills and Highlights (2025)

For more Australian Landscape Photography visit: https://www.chockstonephotos.com In this highlights video Australian landscape photographer Michael Boniwell travels to several locations in Victoria and New South Wales looking for images. Skipping over all the boring days of where no photographs were made, he shows us just the best work from his favourite experiences during the last year or so, presenting each image to the viewer so they can see how it turned out. The episode starts with some winter snow shoe hikes to capture mountain huts and rivers in the falling show. We then head deep into some big gorges to seeking out more landscape images of towering cliffs and clear streams, before travelling to the places like the ever beautiful Blue Mountains and where Michael takes in some amazing cliff-top views. At the coast Michael captures some stunning waterfalls and ocean overlooks, explaining his compositional choices as well as touching upon some advanced technical fieldwork such as focus stacking. We finish up back in Victoria, closer to home, for a final couple of scenes. Hopefully viewers will come away feeling inspired to get outdoors and explore Australia, with or without a camera.
