Noncommunicable Disease (NCD) Integration in HIV Programming: Improving Quality-of-Life for People Living with HIV. A virtual roundtable ahead of the UN High-Level Meeting on HIV and AIDS NCD Alliance, Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+) and Global Health Council hold a virtual roundtable ahead of the United Nations High-Level Meeting (HLM) on HIV and AIDS. This roundtable was held as governments prepared for the High-Level Meeting (HLM) on HIV and AIDS on 8-10th June 2021, which will review the progress made in reducing the impact of HIV since the last HLM on HIV and AIDS in 2016 and adopt a new political declaration to guide the future direction of the response. Objectives: Consider the health-related quality-of-life approach for people living with HIV and NCD co-morbidities. Discuss key integration examples and opportunities for synergies in the HIV and NCD responses. Explore investment cases that consider impact and cost within existing HIV programmes.
