DIY | SHERPA HOODIE | Cozy Blanket Transformation

Todays video I'm gonna be showing you guys how I made this really warm and soft sherpa hoodie that I made using a blanket that I bought from Walmart! This is a more inexpensive way to stay warm, or just a better use of blankets that are lying around the house! Not much fabric is needed so you can get away with using a smaller blanket. I did use a double cross stitch on my Singer sewing machine, I love this stitch because it sews and serges the raw edges of the sherpa all in one shot. If your machine doesn't have that, just sew a zig zag stitch along the edges to prevent the sherpa from fuzzing everywhere all the time. One thing I was really surprised by is after washing the hoodie is didn't leave any lint leftover on my other clothes ! Rarely does that ever happen.
