It's my birthday! So, to celebrate, I present a look back at the wacky and brilliant wilderness years of Doctor Who, alongside a John Debney inspired version of this track that's been slowly developed since November! This was the era that made me a fan of the series, it was wild and clever. There were silly skits, animations, the TV Movie and so much more. Enjoy this little celebration of the silly monsters that popped up during this time. Clips are taken from webcasts, specials (including the animations from Doctor Who night), and more! The opening shot from Shalka is an appropriate one for me to start with. It opens with a crash land on Ruapehu, and the shot is of Ngauruhoe as seen from Ruapehu - the latter being a mountain I had a nice view of from my dining room window where I was living during part of the Wilderness years. I did create an alternative thumbnail, based on the BBC artwork for novels and VHS covers during this time, but it was AWFUL (but then, so were the covers), so I reverted back to the original early Big Finish style.
