The New River Gorge bridge is not only an engineering feat, but is the beautiful icon that anchors New River Gorge National Park. The bridge was completed in 1977 and is the longest steel span in the western hemisphere. Come along as we take a unique look at this bridge in three very different ways -- one from the winding 178-step boardwalk overlook, one from the twisty scenic drive hundreds of feet below the bridge, and one from dangling beneath the bridge on the narrow catwalk.
