In September of 1994, 79-year-old Leah Buck was hit to the back of the head while walking home from an appointment in Williamstown. She died the following day from bleeding on the brain. Around the time of her death there were similar incidents reported in and around the western suburbs where elderly women had been targeted. A $1M reward remains.
