Disney Cruise Line Vlog 🚢 Castaway Cay 5k and exploring! Day 7 | Disney Fantasy Vlog | Lisa Preece

Castaway Cay day on the Disney Fantasy! What a bittersweet day as it's the one you always look forward to, but it's also the last day of the cruise! I started the day bright and early watching us pull into Castaway Cay soooo slowly. Then I went to register for the Castaway Cay 5k race, which was my first ever Run Disney event. Unfortunately the heavens opened as we got off the ship to walk to the start line. I was too scared to take my camera with me on the course incase of a downpour that would ruin it. But I really enjoyed the race and got around in 36 minutes, which I was very happy with considering how hot it was, even so early in the morning. I found out mum, dad and Alice had just made it to Serenity Bay so I headed over there on a tram to meet them. We spent most of the day sitting enjoying the sunshine, wading out into the shallow water, and generally relaxing. Yes, I did have two lunches from the Serenity Bay BBQ. I skipped breakfast for the 5k so I was desperate for a snack, and then we all went for a proper lunch a few hours later! It poured with rain again in the afternoon so we packed up our things and caught the tram back to the main family beach area where the shops are. I bought a Run Disney Castaway Cay 5k pin and managed to not buy anything else! Then we got back on the ship and got ready for dinner. Dinner was so so much fun. We were all so happy and loving life on the ship. We loved our servers so much so it was great to spend one last evening with them. Then we watched the Disney Fantasy See You Real Soon show, which might have also been called Till We Meet Again... I can't remember! It was great to get a few last character photos and then watch the little show. The end bit where the cruise director says you can never say goodbye to Mickey... Yep, I was a wreck. Did not want to leave!! It had literally been one of the best weeks of my life. My favourite piano player Tim came down to play in the lobby atrium and we stayed to listen to him for a while. Then we did our final packing and sat on the veranda for one last time where we saw the Disney Dream heading the other way!! It was amazing and totally unexpected. The Captain confirmed in his announcement the next day that it was the Dream sailing past. Such a magical way to end our last night on board. _ Welcome to my channel!
