Chinese children at school. China Line of children lined up against the wall waving flags and clapping. Children in the classroom with their heads resting on their arms on the desks, they all face the same way. They all jump up and say something and then sit back down all at the same time. Female teacher writes on the blackboard 4 x 3 =; 12 / 3=; 12 / 4 = and uses a ruler to draw the = sign. Three children come forward to write the answers on the board, the teacher wrote the sums almost too high and the children have to stretch to fill the answers in. In the classroom the children all stand up then sit down again. They are all very regimented. Teacher asks a question and the children raise their hands to answer, they don't put their hands in the air but lean their elbows on the desk, every moment seems regulated, the children all sit the same way and act the same way.
