They are constantly exhausted, even when they try to decrease their workload or take time off. From the outside, they appear fine. They are doing the things expected of them at work and at home. But on the inside, they feel numb, almost robotic, and like they are losing touch with their work, their relationships and even themselves. This week I am discussing the difference between burnout and functional freeze.
