A Hitachi EX5600 Mining Excavator, is being hauled in two parts. Charles Hull Contracting, Mack Titan tri-drive, with the undercarraige base. And Centurion Transport Kenworth T909 PM581, with the chassis body. Video taken at three locations, on Great Northern Highway. Sat July 22 2023. Ist location at Muchea. The 2 @ 8 mtr width oversize load, has just left the Brand Highway Interchange, at Muchea North. At this part of Great Northern Highway, the heavy vehicle pilots and Escort Traffic Warden, try to get many vehicles as possible, to safely pass, before the rear pilot closes the 'back door' At this point, a following truck, has the bucket for the EX5600 excavator. And at the overtaking lanes, just a few kms north. At Blue Plains Road T junction. This truck, will overtake and move ahead of these guys. 2nd location.
