When Daniel Greco of Lake Grove went into cardiac arrest at an ATM machine in Melville, the outlook seemed bleak, according to the surveillance camera footage that captured the scene. Luckily, our team members at the neighboring Northwell NetworkCare found him and immediately started CPR, which brought him back to life – twice. Daniel arrived at Plainview Hospital, where our team referred him to the Sandra Atlas Bass Heart Hospital at North Shore University Hospital for a triple bypass surgery as well as an aortic valve replacement, performed by Dr. William Shi. Daniel recently returned to thank the team who saved his life.
