This week we head down South to Alabama to kick off a three-stop music tour. First stop: Muscle Shoals! If you're a music fan, especially of music from the 60s and 70s, you've probably heard of the Muscle Shoals sound. Everyone from Wilson Pickett to Aretha Franklin, The Rolling Stones to Cher came to this small town in Alabama to capture the magic of the sound that came from the two major studios here. Massive hits were recorded here. We took a tour of Muscle Shoals Sound and Stephen got play the drum kit there, in the same spot where Charlie Watts recorded The Rolling Stones' hit "Brown Sugar!" And of course we indulged in the food. I was really looking forward to trying the strawberry pretzel salad. Little did I know it was a dessert! Not what I was expecting, but delicious nonetheless.
