From Normal Devices, Decay Cascade is a nifty little distorted reverb machine—you could call it a "shoegaze" pedal, but that almost feels like a disservice. It can obviously do that, but there's a ton of nuance to be found in between "pristine" and "completely destroyed" reverb, and I think that's where the magic really is. There's an authentic and very specific nostalgia to it that's extremely satisfying, the interface is really clever and flexible, and it just sounds reeeeally dang good.
