Trust No One is a unique point and click adventure which is interesting, but misses the mark, in my opinion. The game is rather short, and I got stuck very early on due to the fact that you require knowledge and resources from outside the game. For one, you start of at a train station in Kiev, Ukraine and if you leave this area, you will need to know the address of the real location of a train station in Kiev. There is no information that nods to this in the game, or that you even need to do this. The other puzzle regarding another address requires you to know a quote by René Descartes. If that wasn't confusing enough, I got VERY stuck later on with a hint that says you need to wash your hands before using the computer. There is only one computer at this point, and it's locked. I went all over, looking for clues to the password on this computer. After giving up and looking up a guide, like you may have done here (thanks for watching), I found out that you need to send a real email from your real email account. That's what that note was for. There's no real way to know this unless you're aware that this is an attempt at an augmented reality game. I was also not too keen on waiting 5 or so minutes for a reply to get passwords to progress through the game. I did my best to screengrab my phone so you can actually see the emails, and I will try to add some lofi vibes for that. I guess I could have put some tunes on Spotify while waiting. lol Either way, the game was alright, nothing to write home about, but on the whole, VERY confusing. Once you get the last code, you will be given a choice. One choice unlocks "Brave New World" while the other unlocks "Good, Old Days". You can reload the game after playing it and just choose the other option. There isn't much difference between the endings either. The only non-story related trophy is "Persistent Seeker". I tried to do this in a natural way but it's simply for trying to open all of the locked doors. There are a few doors in the main path, but you also need to choose some wrong addresses which will bring you to a randomly generated area and you need to try to open all of those doors as well. I believe there are five areas in total. 0:00 Intro 2:05 Dystopia Fan 4:15 Descartes Approves/Persistent Seeker 10:50 Cipher Breaker 21:50 Almost Johnny Mnemonic 26:15 Brave New World 28:05 Good Old Days
