In this video, I complete the trilogy on building a fully automated CI/CD workflow for Power BI in Microsoft Fabric. This final part focuses on Release and Continuous Delivery (CD). Starting from a merged feature branch, I demonstrate how Azure DevOps YAML pipelines orchestrate the full promotion process: first synchronizing changes into the integration workspace using UpdateFromGit, and then triggering the Fabric Deployment Pipeline to move content from Development to UAT—and optionally to Production. Beyond simple promotion, this demo goes deeper into real-world release requirements. You will see how to: Automate semantic model connection binding using the new Fabric REST API Configure and consume environment-specific variables through Variable Libraries Apply row-level security (RLS) programmatically using the semantic-link-labs (sempy) library Use DevOps environments to enforce approval gates Manage deployment rules for environment-specific connection overrides By the end of the video, you will see how Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery come together to operate Power BI as a fully governed, enterprise-ready workload inside Microsoft Fabric. 📘 Full article (Part 3 – Release & CD): https://www.techtacofriday.com/ci-cd-... 📘 Full series: https://www.techtacofriday.com/ci-cd-...
