For the first time ever, leading British and Greek experts came together to publicly debate the future of the Parthenon Marbles — one of the most significant cultural and ethical discussions of our time. Hosted by Debate House, in collaboration with the Democracy & Culture Foundation as part of the Athens Democracy Forum 2025, and under the auspices of the Melina Mercouri Foundation, this landmark event took place at the Old Parliament House Museum (National Historical Museum) — the very site where Greece first officially claimed the return of the Marbles. ⚖️ The Debate Topic: The Return of the Parthenon Marbles: Who Owns the History?
