Key Highlights of Today's Protest & Discussion with SSC Chairman ✅ 1. *Implementation of a Waiting List:* SSC has invited suggestions from teachers and students on how a waiting list can be incorporated into SSC exams. Currently, due to varying grade pays, implementing such a system is technically complex. 2. *Extra Attempt for CGL 2024 Aspirants:* SSC has stated that an additional attempt for CGL 2024 aspirants will be granted only if both the court and the government approve it. 3. *Change in Content Vendor for CGL 2025:* From CGL 2025 onwards, TCS will no longer be responsible for question creation. A new vendor will be appointed. 4. *Review of Normalization Formula:* A committee will be formed to examine the normalization process. Changes may be introduced in upcoming exams, possibly adopting a percentile-based approach. 5. *Document Verification Authority:* SSC cannot conduct document verification independently, as it has not been authorized by the government to do so. 6. *Exam Schedule for Upcoming Year:* The sequence of SSC exams will be: *CGL* *CHSL* *MTS* This order aims to prevent CGL and CHSL candidates from appearing in the MTS exam, which could otherwise raise the cutoff. 7. *Addressing Discrepancies in CGL 2024:* Any issues related to CGL 2024 discrepancies can only be resolved through legal proceedings. SSC is open to resolving concerns if the court grants relief to students. 8. *Two-Track Resolution Approach:* *Path 1 – CGL 2024 Issues:* These will be addressed through legal proceedings. *Path 2 – CGL 2025 Reforms:* SSC is open to implementing reforms, but it will be a multi-stage process. Teachers will work on drafting a reform proposal. 9. *Infrastructure Improvement & Fee Hike:* To enhance infrastructure, SSC may consider increasing the application fee for upcoming exams.
