Jeffrey Epstein’s former accountant Richard Kahn is testifying in a closed deposition before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday. Kahn managed the finances of Epstein for more than a decade and was the co-executor of his will. Epstein’s other co-executor, Darren Indyke, will be testifying before the committee on March 19. Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) told reporters as he walked in for the hearing Wednesday morning that questions would be centered around “how Epstein was able to accumulate so much wealth." The late financier began his career as a math teacher at the Dalton School. He then moved on to a career in investment banking, and eventually began managing the portfolios for billionaires including Les Wexner, founder and CEO of L Brands; and Leon Black, Chairman of Apollo Global Management.
