Large Pine Segmented Ring - Sawdust Factory Woodturning

Welcome back to the channel. In this video we turn a large segment ring from yellow heart pine. If had this wood laying around the shop for way too long and now it’s prime time to do something creative and fun with it. First we’ll do a bit of planning, show you how I calculate the segment size that will give me the right ring. Then we’ll get into the turning and finish up by mounting it on a simple but elegant base. This video marks the relaunch of the Sawdust Factory Channel!!
