Dear DRAMA ENTHUSIAST, We would like to invite you to the exciting, NEW and ORIGINAL musical; BOYS SCHOOL: THE MUSICAL; brought to you by Diocesan Boys' School Drama Committee. This musical is written and composed by the DBS Drama Committee and the music is produced by acclaimed composer/ producer Mr. Mark Lui (雷頌德先生). We are also donating 20% of our proceeds to the charity Breakthrough (突破). Tickets are priced at $100 for zone A and $75 for zone B. The performance will debut in the brand new Yunni and Maxine Pao Auditorium on the DBS campus! Yours sincerely, Diocesan Boys' School Drama Committee "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams" Synopsis: Stephanie Walters is a music teacher at Crosswell High, an all boys' school under the leadership of an old and kind Headmaster Harrison. However, things change when Richard Jones- a female hating chauvinist takes the reins as headmaster of the school. Sweeping changes happen: school rules tighten, and all female teachers are fired. Discouraged yet strong-willed, Stephanie transforms herself into a male teacher, determined to teach at Crosswell High again. Eventually she is able to do so, and by taking up this role, she begins to inspire others to follow their dreams.
