Inhaler Success? Sort of....

JJ went to school today, but we did not need to take him. It turns out that the medical transport company did not work out, so they switched back to the regular school buses, and we were happy to hear the news. The minivan would not have worked out very well for us at all. We had some success with JJ and the inhaler this afternoon. The hiss from the inhaler made him a bit nervous and he would jump every time I pushed it. After we put Shelly's headphones on him, it seemed to have helped quite a bit. Since he couldn't hear the hiss, he let us put the mask on him and use the inhaler. He only left the mask on a short time and were not sure whether he inhaled or exhaled or both. This was also the case when we tried it at bedtime. Either way, it was a major leap forward and I'm sure we will have even better luck tomorrow.
