I had a weekend with the Lenovo Explorer Windows Mixed Reality headset with the intention of teaching with it. I must say, it was really easy to set up and use and the integration with Unity3d is excellent. Once you have Unity ready to build to UWP projects, it really is as easy as drag and drop, leaving you with worrying about what game to make, rather than how to interface with the hardware. And the $300 price tag from Amazon is a lot easier to stomach than the cost of the Oculus or Vive. Also, the hardware requirements for using the device are a lot more accessible. Overall, I recommend this as a great way to get VR into your classroom.
