Buttons are something that we see and touch every day, but they can also be turned into thought-provoking artworks. In Fong Ka-sin’s “Button Playground”, she reimagined and reinterpreted everyday interfaces – a bus stop bell, an elevator panel and more – and transformed them into playful experiences. A programmer turned artist, Fong believes that art can be interactive and connect with people. It is not necessarily grand, spectacular, or remote.
