SCRIPTURE | Galatians 6:1–5, 9–10 (NRSVUE) SERMON SYNOPSIS In Galatians 6:1–5, 9–10, Paul invites the church into a long-haul faith—a faith that is planted, tended, and harvested through the Spirit’s power. This week, we explore how grace grows in us through gentleness, self-control, gratitude, and our commitment to doing good for others. Harvesting grace is not a one-day project; it’s a daily posture that shapes who we become and how we bless the world. 1️⃣ Harvesting Grace begins with how we treat each other. Paul calls us to restore one another in a spirit of gentleness and to bear each other’s burdens. Our relationships become the soil where the fruit of the Spirit grows. 2️⃣ Harvesting Grace requires honest self-reflection and Spirit-led self-control. We carry our own load while letting God shape our character. Self-control isn’t about trying harder; it’s trusting deeper, choosing the next faithful step even when we’re tired. 3️⃣ Harvesting Grace is strengthened through gratitude. Gratitude keeps our hearts soft, our eyes open, and our spirits resilient. It becomes the discipline that sustains us when we’re tempted to give up. 4️⃣ Harvesting Grace moves us to serve others with joy. Whenever we have an opportunity, we work for the good of all. Service is not busyness—it’s alignment with the Spirit’s work in us and through us.
