Introducing the SDG Action Manager, our newest impact management tool

We have 10 years to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. To help businesses take meaningful action, B Lab and the United Nations Global Compact have developed the SDG Action Manager. This new impact management solution is designed to help businesses set goals, track progress, and stay motivated on their progress towards the SDGS. The SDG Action Manager will help businesses: Find a starting point: Identify which SDGs matter most to them and how to take action. Understand and share impact: Get a clear view of how business operations, supply chains, and business models can create positive impact. Set goals and track improvement: Stay motivated and visualise progress on the dashboard. Why did B Lab and the UN Global Compact join forces to create the SDG Action Manager? Our insights showed that awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals was high among companies, but they lacked the tools and direction to get started and take action. Bringing together B Lab’s B Impact Assessment, the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, and the Sustainable Development Goals, the SDG Action Manager complements the BIA’s comprehensive, stakeholder-based view with a more focused look at performance on Sustainable Development Goals.
