Hello dear friends of organ music, Today I have something very special for you: A meditation on the Advent hymn "Come, thou long expected Jesus", composed by Vidas Pinkevicius and dedicated to the organ rabbit! Vidas is an organist in Lithuania and also runs a YouTube channel: @SecretsofOrganPlaying Have a look! The hymn was composed by Charles Wesley (1707 - 1788). It can be sung to different melodies. Vidas has chosen the tune "Jefferson" for his meditation. The tune comes from the USA (Southern Harmony). Thanks again to Vidas for the dedication! Enjoy it and have a blessed 3rd Advent Sunday, Organ Bunny Come, thou long expected Jesus, born to set thy people free from our fears and sins release us, let us find our rest in thee.
